Biden and Wes Moore Headline Maryland Dems' Fight Back & Win Summit This Weekend

Some of the biggest names in Democratic politics are coming to Maryland this Saturday, and they are landing right in our backyard.

The Maryland Democratic Party hosts its 2026 Fight Back & Win Summit and Gala on Saturday, June 27, at Maryland Live! Casino and Hotel in Hanover. The lineup is stacked. Former President Joe Biden headlines with the keynote, joined by Governor Wes Moore, Congressman Jamie Raskin, and Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott.

For our community, the day carries real weight. Wes Moore, the first Black governor in Maryland history, and Brandon Scott, leading Baltimore, sharing a stage is a picture of Black political leadership at full strength, and it is happening minutes from home.

The Summit runs by day, bringing together community organizers, elected officials, advocates, voters, and aspiring candidates for immersive trainings, tactical sessions, and hands-on activations from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. By night, the Gala convenes Maryland's political leadership and rising change-makers for an evening of recognition and fellowship, running 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. MdpsummitMdpsummit
